In 1986, Dr. Erik Goluboff received his B.A. from Columbia University in biology. There, he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Afterwards, he attended Johns Hopkins University and in 1990 he earned his medical degree.
Dr. Goluboff has practiced Urology for almost thirty years, and over his career he has held many high ranking positions. He served as the Director of Urology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/The Allen Pavilion and in addition he served as a Professor of Clinical Urology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He moved to AstraZeneca after almost three decades working in academic urologic oncology, and there he served as Global Clinical Product Lead.
His team there assisted in late stage research and development efforts in bladder cancer. Dr. Goluboff is currently the Principal Medical Lead for urologic cancers and a part of the drug development program at Genentech/Roche, where his research includes the bladder, kidneys, prostate.
Dr. Erik Goluboff has earned many awards and accolades over his career, which include the Young Investigator Award given to him by the National Kidney Foundation as well as the Teacher of the Year award given by three different residency programs.
